King Szechuan Palace

I have ordered from this restaurant since it opened, like 2 years. On time, Delicious, best Sichuan style restaurant in Jersey City.
Have you tried mapo tofu? I cant simply walk away because of that.

I always have the vegetarian specials, the fake chicken/beef - they are all really good but the orange beef is amazing! The Lo mein noodles are delicious too. Highly recommended (and I'm fussy!)

This was quite possibly the best Chinese food that I've had in a while! We ordered the dry pot style chef's specialty and it was delicious with fresh ingredients and excellent seasoning.

Food was made well. I didnt like the dish but that was because I didnt realize what I was ordering. Will order from here again but stick to my go to dishes

Amazing, authentic, chinese food! Hands down the best chinese ive had in JC. Cant wait to try more items from the menu.

Finally I found a good Chinese takeout in the heights. My first time ordering and I would order from there again. The delivery was 30 minutes early and I received everything in my order. Portion size was big. Spareribs were really good and you can taste the 5 spices. The roast pork noodles soup was similar to NYC except it had bamboo shoots which I didn't expect. The broth was tasty. I would definitely order that again. Roast pork Lo Mein was not your typical Chinese dish, it head made with flat rice noodles that you find in Pho soup. The dish was tasty but in a different way and not your typical lo mein. You will be disappointed if you are expecting a typical lo mein dish. Not sure if it was a one off.

Delivery: ordered on a Sunday, about 5pm. Delivery was around 6pm, as advised. Delivery person gave a quick smile, gave me food, was off to the next delivery. I tip 20%, because everyone needs to make a living, and delivering Chinese food isn't the easiest or best-paid job in the world. Food: very, very authentic and tasty Szechuan-style Mapo Tofu. Other dishes were delicious, too. I was particularly impressed with the quality of the ingredients (in fried dumplings, hot and sour soup, broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken). So glad to have found a really good Szechuan/Chinese restaurant that delivers to Newport/Jersey City. Looking forward to ordering from this restaurant again!

Excellent quality and taste from King Szechuan. The seasonings are done right and doesn't seem to be loaded with MSG like most Asian restaurants. One of the most authentic Cold Sesame Noodles I've had in a LONG time. Ribs are delicious, can taste that 5 Spice in them. Shrimp are tender in their dishes and flavorful. Our new go to for Chinese in our new neighborhood. 100% Recommend to any who are looking for great Chinese.

if you're into American-ish Chinese food, then this would be the best 'Take Out' delivery food... i'm personally more into Authentic Szechuan so i'll prefer Grand Sichuan... but for those that can't handle the spice or just into 'regular' Chinese food, this place is better than all other 'regular' Chinese food as they use great ingredients and very good seasoning/flavor... good bang for your buck too

It's great that they provide both Szechuan style food and American style Chinese food. Both are very delicious. The only problem is that if you order your food at around 7pm, there is very, very slim chance that you will get it within an hour. I waited for like 90 minutes and ended up canceling the order. Plan ahead for dinner and definitely don't wait until you are hungry!
